About the position

The Retail Manager for the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB program is responsible for overseeing the CLUB credit program and enhancing the customer experience within the store. This role involves leading a team, driving customer loyalty initiatives, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. The manager will also support the team during Manager on Duty shifts, fostering a culture of outstanding customer service and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's CLUB credit program.
• Enhance the CLUB customer experience by implementing strategies and promoting benefits.
• Act as the primary liaison for the CLUB program, ensuring all staff are informed about promotions.
• Collaborate with partners to execute successful events that align with the CLUB brand standards.
• Build strong relationships with the leadership team and outfitters to influence and motivate them.
• Facilitate training for new outfitters and create an engaging learning environment.
• Develop strategies for recruiting and retaining talented outfitters.
• Provide feedback and coaching to underperforming outfitters to improve their performance.
• Analyze CLUB reporting to meet key performance metrics and develop corrective action plans.
• Execute operational and compliance programs for the CLUB.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2 to 4+ years of Sales, Management, or Leadership Experience.
• Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data.
• Proficiency in PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, and inventory management systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in retail management or customer loyalty programs.
• Knowledge of outdoor products and services.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and analysis.
