About the position

The Retail Marketing Specialist at Converse will lead the ideation and development of marketing strategies aimed at driving traffic and conversion for Converse Factory Stores. This role involves creating innovative marketing plans, managing paid placements, and executing retail-specific email and omni-channel campaigns. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives, while also overseeing in-store signage and promotions to enhance consumer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing plans for Converse Factory Stores, from ideation to execution.
  • Manage paid media placements in mall spaces and across digital channels to drive awareness and traffic.
  • Oversee the strategy and execution of retail-specific email marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and execute omni-channel campaigns to create cohesive consumer experiences.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with mall centers and external marketing vendors.
  • Provide tailored marketing support to individual stores or clusters to achieve traffic and conversion goals.
  • Manage the creation and deployment of in-store and seasonal signage that aligns with campaigns.
  • Support the implementation of promotional strategies to drive foot traffic and conversion.
  • Collaborate with CRM teams to build targeted programming that engages existing customers.
  • Conduct market visits to evaluate execution of marketing initiatives and provide actionable feedback.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably with a focus on retail brand/account marketing.
  • Experience developing retail consumer journeys and programming at retail.
  • Understanding of retail, visual merchandising, marketplace, consumer experience, and multi-channel marketing.
  • Understanding of digital platforms including Apps, Email, SEO, Performance Marketing and Social Media.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects while remaining detail-oriented.
  • Experience with managing budgets and authoring marketing briefs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions and marketing optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training.
