As a Retail Media Analyst at Circana, you will serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding platform-related requests and issues. Your role will involve close collaboration with multiple retailer clients and external partners to coordinate and execute high-quality analytic deliverables. Your success as a Retail Media Analyst will hinge on your ability to enable retailer clients to grow by facilitating better and faster decision-making. Key competencies for this role include a strong client focus, where you will develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs related to retail media and their supplier clients' media goals. You will confidently present accurate and actionable results to client teams, supporting them in delivering insights to their supplier end clients. Additionally, you will act as the primary resource for clients regarding the retail media platform, ensuring their satisfaction by following through on commitments and addressing their needs effectively. Cross-functional coordination will be a significant aspect of your role, as you will frequently collaborate with various internal and external partner teams, including technical leads, product teams, and agency partners. You will bridge the gap between client business needs and internal technical teams, identifying, validating, and resolving any gaps in the retail media platform. Problem-solving skills will be crucial, as you will need to ask meaningful questions to understand problems and their potential causes. You will employ logical and systematic approaches to break down complex issues and arrive at effective solutions, providing clear and actionable recommendations. Planning and organizing will also be key components of your responsibilities, as you will need to coordinate work and resources to respond to data delivery requests, ensuring that project goals and timelines are met. You will manage multiple accounts and workstreams, holding yourself and others accountable for meeting quality standards and timelines. A familiarity with digital advertising is essential for this role, with knowledge of retail media being a plus. Areas of focus may include media measurement, incremental lift modeling, behavior-based targeting, identity graphs, shopper marketing, and shopper analysis. Experience with data analysis, storytelling with data, and proficiency in MS Excel will be highly applicable to your success in this position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in digital media, retail media, or related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong project management and process skills.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Experience with data analysis, including storytelling with data and proficiency in MS Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of retail media is a plus.
