The Retail Merchandise Processor at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and promoting sales by processing donated merchandise. This full-time position involves receiving, pricing, and preparing items for sale while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, operational excellence, and adherence to Goodwill's core values.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, to meet minimum quotas.
• Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report any incidents of theft or misappropriation.
• Understand that all donated merchandise is the property of GCNA and cannot be given away.
• Maintain the sales floor and work station by following established standards.
• Stock merchandise in the appropriate area as assigned.
• Be cross-trained in all processing departments as needed.
• Inspect donated merchandise for quality and categorize items appropriately.
• Report any hazardous materials found during processing.
• Follow and ensure compliance with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
