About The Position

The Retail Merchandise Processor at Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and promoting sales by efficiently processing donated merchandise. This part-time position involves receiving, pricing, and preparing items for sale while ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, to meet minimum quotas.
• Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession.
• Maintain the sales floor and work station by following established standards.
• Stock merchandise in the appropriate areas as assigned.
• Exercise judgment to inform leaders of any hazardous materials found during processing.
• Follow and ensure compliance with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Act immediately to report any unsafe conditions or potential hazards.
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
