About the position

The Retail Merchandise Processor at Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona plays a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and promoting sales by efficiently processing donated merchandise. This part-time position involves receiving, pricing, and preparing items for sale while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, to meet minimum quotas.
• Maintain regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report any incidents of theft or misappropriation.
• Maintain the sales floor and work station by following established standards.
• Stock merchandise in the appropriate area as assigned.
• Inspect donated merchandise for quality and categorize items accordingly.
• Follow and ensure compliance with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
• Model Goodwill Core Values including Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
