About the position

The Retail Merchandiser at Oldcastle APG will be responsible for managing and supporting big box retail stores, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and enhancing customer engagement through various events and product displays. This role requires a motivated individual who can effectively coordinate store visits and collaborate with management to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and achieves a consistent daily and weekly customer schedule for store visits.
• Proactively monitors proper inventory levels in stores using cycle counts and various reports.
• Participates in regional company training classes and events.
• Leads and participates in customer events such as demonstration clinics and product knowledge classes.
• Builds and installs product displays and new store resets.
• Ensures product is safely stacked and/or properly secured.
• Provides suggestions and shares ideas with supervisor and team to maximize shelf space.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for travel.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, perform repetitive motions and work from a ladder.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
