About the position

The Retail Merchandising Product Manager will oversee the project management of retail fixture development for Home Entertainment or Digital Appliances at retail stores across the US. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure successful execution from design to installation, focusing on enhancing retail displays and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop the Design Brief with DG / PM and ensure it meets project objectives and timing.
  • Ensure all approved assets required by design agencies are provided to meet design deadlines and milestones.
  • Manage the internal stakeholder review and approval process for fixture designs up to final design and engineering files.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team on customer approval processes and stage gates.
  • Manage the fixture fabrication process including vendor selection, scope of work and budgets, materials and fabrication techniques, and timelines.
  • Manage fixture logistics to store and installation including vendor selection, scope of work and budgets, crew deployment, and timelines.
  • Track and provide installation reporting and address gaps and issues as needed.
  • Provide insights on competitor messaging, fixture design, and communication at retail, and partner with DG & PM teams to improve retail displays.
  • Be familiar with the latest materials, fabrication techniques, and technology that could apply to our displays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • 5+ years of related experience is required
  • Prior experience in consumer electronics preferred
  • Prior experience with displays and merchandising in Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy preferred
  • Prior project management experience in an environment with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and vendors required
  • Prior experience managing, developing, and inspiring marketing staff required
  • Prior experience managing fabrication and installation vendors required
  • Must be able to identify, analyze, interpret, present, explain, and execute retail marketing strategies and executions
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and intermediate PowerPoint skills
  • Graphic design skills (Photoshop) are considered a plus
  • Ability to successfully navigate a highly matrixed corporate landscape and lead by influence with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
