About the position

The Retail Merchandising Support Associate at Macy's is responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences by managing merchandise presentation, assisting with floor relocations, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage. Responsibilities

  • Greet and connect with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Recommend products by identifying customer needs and inspiring purchases.
  • Offer options and solutions to customers to complete sales.
  • Wrap up the shopping experience by celebrating customer purchases.
  • Master store products, services, and sales systems to assist customers effectively.
  • Maintain department recovery standards, including selling floor and fitting rooms.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and signage throughout the store using technology.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of products and ability to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and achieve sales goals.
  • Utilize point of sale technology and applications for selling and fulfilling orders.
  • Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends through Macy's educational resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with the team to drive sales and enhance customer experience.
