About the position
The Retail Nursery Driver / Customer Service role at Garden Sensation involves providing excellent customer service while managing inventory and driving to various locations. The position requires a candidate who is dependable, organized, and capable of handling physical tasks in a nursery environment.
Responsibilities
- Take care of customers when in shop, help them with questions and cashing out.
- Receive and organize inventory, making sure the products are clean and presentable for sale.
- Clean Nursery area and maintain cleanliness.
- Use a weed whacker and de-weed plants when needed.
- Operate loader and other equipment as needed.
- Stay active and alert to help out coworkers and clients.
- Be punctual and dependable.
- Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping surroundings organized and clean.
- Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English.
Requirements
- Bilingual preferable: English and Spanish
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to lift 50lbs following safety procedures
- Must be able to work outside in the sun
- Must be able to drive long and short distances between 2 to 6 hours.
