About the position

The Retail Operations Manager at Paradies Lagardère is responsible for ensuring the daily execution of the company's mission to provide First Class Service to every customer. This role involves overseeing store operations, training staff, and maintaining merchandising standards within the assigned zones at the Asheville Regional Airport. The manager plays a crucial role in achieving sales goals and fostering strong relationships within the airport community.

Responsibilities

• Exceed First Class Service standards with every customer and business partner.
• Perform all register, cash handling, and loss prevention functions according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Facilitate opening and closing procedures for all stores.
• Direct the replenishment of merchandise and maintain stockroom organization.
• Ensure store merchandising standards are executed per company guidelines.
• Coordinate staffing levels to maximize sales and service potential.
• Achieve sales goals by adhering to performance metrics and executing promotional programs.
• Direct, coach, and train associates in their daily job assignments.
• Represent the company by fostering strong business relationships within the airport community.
• Provide feedback on associate reviews and input on associate counseling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 day team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to motivate others.
• Self-starter able to prioritize tasks and adapt to unexpected situations.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, mathematics, and cash handling/reporting.
• Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office preferred.
• Ability to pass Federal Criminal History Records Check and Paradies Background Check.
