About the position

The Retail Operations Specialist I at Peoples Bank is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of retail accounts, including opening, closing, and maintaining various account types. This role involves verifying reports, managing parameter changes in retail software, and providing backup support for Personal Banker duties. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service and attention to detail in a fast-paced banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify and ensure all retail accounts opened, closed, or maintained include proper information according to bank policies and procedures.
• Verify multiple reports and manage parameter changes in retail software programs.
• Back up the Personal Banker position when needed, including opening, closing, and maintaining checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposits, IRAs, safe deposit boxes, ATM/Debit Cards, online banking, and teller duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Two years of retail banking experience required.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional customer service skills, including oral and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and possess good computer skills.
