About the position

As a Retail Operations Analyst I at ENGIE, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of billing processes for Retail C&I customers. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to troubleshoot customer concerns and collaborate with various teams to enhance billing and customer experience. You will work closely with third-party vendors and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the overall success of the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely billing for Retail C&I customers and resolve billing disputes
• Collaborate on projects to improve billing, customer experience, and reporting processes
• Implement and maintain quality control measures for outgoing invoices
• Support cross-functional teams and maintain compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field, or 4 years directly relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Entry-level position; prior experience not required but analytical skills development is expected
• Direct exposure to billing and operations across multiple markets
• Strong knowledge of retail energy operations and regulatory standards
• Knowledge of SQL, macros, and MS Access, along with advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills with keen attention to detail
• Reliable, ethical, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
