About the position

The Retail Outlet Team Associate at Bloomingdale's is responsible for driving sales and profit through exceptional customer engagement and merchandising efficiency. This part-time role focuses on providing outstanding customer service, assisting with various store operations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping environment for customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit by providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform various points of sale register transactions including sales, returns, and payments.
• Create a clean and neat shopping environment for customers.
• Assist team members with ensuring items are floor ready, tagged, and ticketed.
• Conduct selling floor recovery including folding, straightening, and sizing merchandise to standard.
• Protect company assets by adhering to all operational procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
