About the position

RepcoLite Paints, Inc is seeking a Retail Paint Sales Associate to join their team. This full-time position involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with paint selections, and managing sales transactions. The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and eager to learn about paint products in a supportive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and responding to their questions
• Assisting with interior and exterior color selections
• Improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service
• Operating the POS system and managing financial transactions
• Balancing cash drawers
• Achieving established sales goals set by the store manager
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
• Mixing and matching paints and stains
• Handling customer complaints with empathy and tact
• Performing other duties as required by the store manager

Requirements

• Ability to work 40-44 hours per week
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to see color
• Positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Nice-to-haves
