About the position

The Retail Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in expanding the retail footprint of an emerging jewelry brand in the Greater Los Angeles area. This position focuses on building and nurturing relationships with retail partners, driving sales growth, and representing the brand at various industry events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury goods and experience in retail partnerships or B2B relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and reach out to prospective retail partners that align with the brand's aesthetic and market goals.
  • Establish meaningful relationships and manage the entire partnership lifecycle, from initiation to contract finalization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retail partners, providing excellent support, product knowledge, and training.
  • Drive sales growth through retail partnerships by optimizing product placement, merchandising, and promotions.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to retail locations to evaluate merchandising and gather feedback.
  • Collect and report insights on market trends, retail performance, and customer feedback.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and retail meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in retail partnerships, business development, or B2B account management, ideally in the jewelry, luxury goods, or fashion industry.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation, presentation, and driving sales growth.
  • Knowledge of the Greater Los Angeles retail landscape and a network within the local market are beneficial.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual who can work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
