About the position

The Retail Parts Pro is a professional-level sales position focused on supporting the DIY automotive business. This role requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and advanced troubleshooting skills to assist customers effectively. The position involves managing customer interactions, achieving sales goals, and maintaining store inventory and appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards
• Perform key holder responsibilities such as task assignment and completion, safety, and opening/closing duties
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
• Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and parts catalogs
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
• Must have a valid driver's license
