Responsibilities

• Utilize the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers using approved marketing tools and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Focus on cross-selling to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
• Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners and refer customers for holistic financial solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals to enhance revenue growth.
• Provide guidance to Customer Service Representatives regarding the sales and referral process.
• Promote customer satisfaction with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process, owning sourced loans from application through closing.

Requirements

• College degree or relevant work experience providing transferable skills.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities for acquiring new customers and cross-selling to existing ones.
• Understanding of advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
• Professional representation of Fifth Third Bank in appearance and communication.
• Knowledge of Retail policies and procedures for sound decision-making.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration required at the time of employment.
