The trainee will also support the pharmacy's drug inventory system, participate in physical inventory counts, and ensure expired medications are properly segregated. Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy is crucial, as is restocking medication dispensing areas. The trainee will learn to use various pharmacy systems, including Enterprise Rx, Script-Pro, Pickpoint, and RMS, and will escalate any issues to the pharmacists as necessary. The position requires a strong understanding of pharmacy laws and regulations, and the trainee must represent the pharmacy department and NCH professionally. Punctuality and adherence to pharmacy policies are essential, as is participation in quality improvement activities. Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and staff while ensuring confidentiality is a key aspect of this role.
