About The Position

As a Retail Print Manager at Office Depot, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving print sales and service growth within a high print volume store. Your expertise in print services will help create a vibrant sales culture, enhance visual and merchandising standards for print products, and prioritize client satisfaction. You will oversee the print production process, manage equipment and supplies, and lead a customer-centric environment while fostering a positive culture aligned with Office Depot's values.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in related field.
  • Minimum two years management experience or demonstration of skills through an internal development program.
  • Experience in Print Center Operations.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be the subject matter expert in the Print Services area and associated information systems.
  • Must possess advanced selling skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing environment and able to coach and train others in a professional setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.
  • Experience with logistics, freight, and visual merchandising displays and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction in the Print Department.
  • Execute Office Depot's selling techniques and sales training in print and across the store.
  • Drive a sales-focused environment through training and development of all associates, inclusive of print.
  • Act as a role model for delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to all associates on print processes and selling techniques.
  • Facilitate training sessions on the business model and holistic service offerings for clients/customers.
  • Observe, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.
  • Operate all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies.
  • Contribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain safety and security of the print department, building, and associates during the absence of other managers.
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities, including cash handling and daily store balancing.
