About the position

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the back production area of the retail store, ensuring the achievement of production and sales goals. This role involves leading a team of Retail Merchandise Processors, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving business success through effective leadership and operational management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations and lead the team to achieve set production and sales goals.
  • Execute the retail operations plan to meet targeted growth in profit, revenue, and production.
  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including employee and customer needs, and store opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate with the Store Manager to analyze product generation and monitor product levels to meet sales targets.
  • Record production data daily and ensure compliance with policies related to Loss Prevention and Safety.
  • Interview, hire, and manage the performance of team members, ensuring a high-quality workforce.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to company uniform standards.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Two years of work experience in retail management, preferably in thrift stores.
  • One year of customer service or public contact experience required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
