About the position

The Retail Regional Manager at Hanover Bank is responsible for leading the Branch Network, providing management oversight, mentoring, and strategic insight to support the growth of the bank. This role involves driving sales revenue, deposit growth, and customer retention while ensuring compliance and exceptional client service across all branches.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and leadership to Branch Managers and Assistant Managers on operational and procedural requirements.
  • Coach staff on building meaningful relationships with customers and developing customer pipelines.
  • Coordinate weekly branch staffing calendar for the entire branch network.
  • Serve as an escalation point for client complaints requiring management attention.
  • Conduct regular visits to each branch location to engage with team members and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Attract and retain skilled associates focusing on career development and internal mobility.
  • Develop, enforce, and track the bank's retail sales plan.
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish and achieve production goals.
  • Represent the bank in community events and local sponsorships.
  • Compile departmental reports and communicate branch portfolio fluctuations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in regional Branch Management, Sales, or Operational Management, preferably in banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, cash management, treasury management, compliance, lending, and operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent public speaking skills.
