Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects.
- Identify customer needs and provide advice on financial solutions.
- Collaborate with branch team and BMO partners to enhance customer experience.
- Act as an originator of consumer loans in compliance with regulations.
- Engage with customers to complete needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions.
- Support customer transaction needs based on traffic.
- Generate appointments and build new relationships within the community.
- Address questions and resolve issues related to consumer credit audits.
- Apply risk management framework to protect the Bank's assets.
- Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions.
- Integrate marketing promotions into customer conversations.
- Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the branch customer experience.
- Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products and trends.
- Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.
Requirements
- Typically 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
- Experience in financial services is an asset.
- Confident in using social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
- Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
- Aptitude for listening, solving problems, and responding flexibly to challenges.
