As a Retail Sales Associate in Apparel, you will greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience. You will uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc. Additionally, you will promote company programs such as customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment. It is essential to adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while maintaining confidentiality of all Company information. You will also create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect. Taking an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store is crucial, and you will perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets and signage requirements.
• Promote company programs such as customer loyalty program participation and warranty sales.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety and loss prevention.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and safe.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with the use of a ladder or aerial lifting device.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
