We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Cricket Wireless. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for sales, as you will be expected to upsell products and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product features and benefits.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock checks.
• Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with cash registers and cash handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred but not mandatory.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Supervisory skills are beneficial for leading team members when necessary.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
