The Retail Sales Associate Footwear at DICK'S Sporting Goods plays a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for customers by providing exceptional service and product knowledge. This part-time position focuses on creating an inclusive environment, promoting company programs, and maintaining merchandising standards while supporting the overall team in various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively approach them to understand their needs.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established guidelines.
• Promote company programs such as customer loyalty and warranty sales.
• Adhere to safety and loss prevention policies and maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
• Support the team across the store with a collaborative approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet using a ladder or aerial lifting device.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
