About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at CHEF'STORE plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the store's operations. This position involves various responsibilities, including cashier duties, stocking shelves, and assisting customers throughout their shopping experience. The associate is expected to embody the company's cultural beliefs and contribute to a positive shopping atmosphere while ensuring product availability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing relationships with them.
• Perform sales and cash functions efficiently and accurately at the POS.
• Conduct cart-to-cart transfers and verify purchases as customers leave the store.
• Assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining stock levels.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and stocked according to FIFO.
• Utilize computer programs for inventory management and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, front end, and restrooms.
• Gather carts from the parking lot and ensure they are clean and operable.

Requirements

• Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
