About the position

At Old Navy, we are redefining the retail experience and making fashion accessible to everyone. As a Brand Associate, you will play a crucial role in bringing our brand to life for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to engage and connect with customers, providing them with excellent service that fosters brand loyalty. You will become an expert in our products, using your knowledge to educate, inform, and inspire customers, helping them to create their ideal wardrobe. Collaboration with your leadership team is essential as you work together to deliver a best-in-class customer experience through an omni-channel approach. In this role, you will consistently treat all customers and employees with respect, contributing to a positive work environment. You will promote customer loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs and actively seek out and engage with customers to drive sales through suggestive selling techniques. Your ability to enhance the customer experience using all available omni-channel offerings will be key to your success. You will be accountable for personal goals that contribute to the overall store goals and results, supporting various areas of the store including the sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, and back of house as needed. Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work center is essential, as is handling all customer interactions and potential issues or returns in a courteous and professional manner. You will execute operational processes effectively and efficiently, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and meets customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Good communicator with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members to meet goals.
  • Customer-focused service provider both on and off the sales floor to help deliver an exceptional experience for customers.
  • Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, open to feedback and takes action as required.
  • Agreeable to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holiday, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Able to utilize retail technology.
  • Able to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 lbs.
