About the position

As a Retail Sales Associate at Old Navy, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and bringing the brand to life. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers, provide excellent service, and promote brand loyalty through your product knowledge and customer interactions. You will collaborate with your leadership team to ensure a best-in-class shopping experience using an omni-channel approach.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Promote loyalty by educating customers about our loyalty programs.
  • Seek out and engage with customers to drive sales and service using suggestive selling.
  • Enhance customer experience using all omnichannel offerings.
  • Be accountable to personal goals which contribute to overall store goals and results.
  • Support sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, back of house, as required.
  • Maintain a neat, clean and organized work center.
  • Handle all customer interactions and potential issues/returns courteously and professionally.
  • Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Customer-focused service provider both on and off the sales floor.
  • Passionate about retail and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement and openness to feedback.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to utilize retail technology.
  • Physical ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office, and lift up to 30 lbs.
