About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at Riverside Casino and Golf Resort is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in the Gift Shop and Boutique. This role involves greeting customers, assisting them with product selections, and creating a welcoming atmosphere to encourage purchases. The associate will also handle sales transactions and maintain the store's merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Promptly greet all guests utilizing our standardized greeting.
• Build rapport through conversation and honest recommendations.
• Show the customer around the store and inform them of the merchandise we stock.
• Help customers select products, answer questions, and share product knowledge.
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
• Be knowledgeable of all merchandise on the sales floor on every shift.
• Answer phones promptly with a standardized greeting.
• Apply the RCGR Service Standards with every guest, using the guest's name whenever appropriate.
• Ensure racks are fully stocked.
• Provide complementary sales options for every guest.
• Be attentive while assisting a guest in the fitting room, ensuring they never have to assist themselves.
• Complete all sales transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Alert management of potential security issues.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Help with the store opening and closing process.
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services.
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrates excellent guest service skills.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
• Prior retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Collaborates well with the retail team and has strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills.
