About the position

The Retail Sales Associate - Home Decor at IKEA is responsible for assisting customers in finding the best home furnishing solutions while maintaining a tidy and well-stocked sales floor. This role involves acting as a consultant on various products and services, guiding customers towards top-selling items, and assembling display products for new introductions. The position is part-time and requires weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers and providing advice on the best solutions for their homes.
• Keeping the sales floor tidy, priced, and fully stocked to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Acting as an expert and consultant on a broad range of home furnishing solutions, products, and services.
• Guiding customers toward top-selling and prioritized products.
• Assembling display products for the introduction of new products.

Requirements

• 1 year experience in retail sales, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
