About the position

As a full-time Retail Sales Associate at Verizon, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in the mobile department at a National Retailer. You will be responsible for generating retail sales, closing sales through effective communication, and continuously developing your skills through training and operational functions.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by utilizing passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution.
• Close sales by using effective communication skills to fulfill customer needs with intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of work experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Experience working in a commission-based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
