About the position

The Retail Sales Associate position at Christophe Artisan Chocolatier-Patissier is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining shop cleanliness. The associate will assist the Store Manager with various operational tasks, handle products, and build customer relationships in a fast-paced retail environment specializing in French pastries and chocolates.

Responsibilities

• Handle products and provide customer service.
• Assist the Store Manager as directed.
• Complete operational procedures including restocking supplies and brewing coffee.
• Handle chocolate and pastries, and assemble gift boxes.
• Complete daily tasks assigned by the Store Manager in a timely manner.
• Build retail packaging for in-store use.
• Develop good customer relationships and address service needs.
• Respond to any floor changes made by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a retail or sales position (preferred).
• Keyholding experience (preferred).
• Food and beverage background (strongly encouraged).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong initiative and ability to self-assign tasks.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Great interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
