About the position
Flea Style is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate for our store located in The Gates of Prosper, TX. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about shopping small and have a flair for fashion. As a brand ambassador for Flea Style, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging customer experience while promoting our unique handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind products. The position offers a flexible schedule, with expected weekly hours ranging from 14 to 30 hours, including weekends. We are looking for organized, self-motivated, and hard-working individuals who can embody our company culture and represent Flea Style positively both inside and outside the store. Daily responsibilities include opening and closing the store, processing inventory, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. You will also be expected to meet and exceed team sales goals, assist with loss prevention, and support special events. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to style hats for customers in our Hat Bar, creating unique pieces that reflect their personal style. Building authentic client connections post-sale through communication via social media, email, and phone calls is also a key aspect of this role. You will maintain customer communication, data, appointments, and sales tracking, contributing to in-store meetings and providing local recommendations to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements
- 1 year of previous retail and/or sales experience
- 2 years of fashion retail experience
- 1 year of fashion styling experience
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate a cash register
- Strong phone etiquette
- Knowledge of retail math
- Valid Driver's License
