About the position

The Retail Sales Associate position at BJ's Wholesale Club is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and promoting membership programs. The associate will engage with members to facilitate acquisitions, renewals, and upgrades of BJ's Loyalty Programs while handling merchandise returns and general inquiries. The role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and maintaining a positive shopping environment for members.

Responsibilities

• Execute Acquisition 365, renewing, upgrading, and cross-selling BJ's Loyalty Programs.
• Handle merchandise returns, exchanges, pick-ups, and general customer service inquiries.
• Deliver service excellence through all points of contact with members.
• Resolve and deescalate member concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
• Promote BJ's value proposition regarding acquisition, retention, perks, and the member experience.
• Convert potential members by effectively pitching all membership programs.
• Drive toward goal achievement defined by business benchmarks and results.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and ensure a safe environment for members and team members.
• Assist with Buy Online and Pick Up In Club (BOPIC) orders for members.

Requirements

• Prior front line/customer service or previous sales experience preferred.
• Results driven with proven success in goal achievement.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Computer proficiency preferred.
