About the position

Gap has always been about optimistic American style. Starting with our very first store on Ocean Avenue in San Francisco, opened almost 50 years ago by Doris and Don Fisher, the brand has been built on the phenomenal people that make it what it is today. This includes both employees and customers who are rooted in the legacy of Gap while also focusing on the future. The company is looking for individuals who want to leave the world better than they found it and who are eager to be part of an iconic American brand that is always looking ahead. In the role of Retail Sales Associate at Gap, you will engage and connect with customers by providing excellent customer service. You will become an expert in the product offerings and use this expertise to educate, inform, inspire, and outfit customers. Your responsibilities will include providing information on current merchandise assortments, store promotions, and events, while executing operational processes effectively and efficiently. The ultimate goal is to bring the Gap brand to life for customers, build brand loyalty, and deliver productivity. You will also promote customer loyalty by educating them about loyalty programs and leveraging omni-channel offerings to ensure a seamless customer experience.
