About the position

The Fragrance Outlet is seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets. This part-time role involves engaging with customers, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information about product features, pricing, and after-sales services
• Answer customers' questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision
• Experience with POS (point of sale) processing preferred but not required
• Understanding of retail sales principles preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills - face to face and online
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments, including during peak times when the store is most profitable
