About the position

Game X Change is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service in the buying and selling of various new and used goods, particularly in the entertainment sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow within the industry, contributing to a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers' questions about specific products/services
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store
• Ensure the quality and usability of products being sold to the store

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of some of the various products that we sell (Video Games/Consoles, Movies, Comics/Manga, Vinyls, TV's, Guitars, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• A reliable form of transportation
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
