About the position

The Tempur-Pedic Team Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while promoting and selling Tempur-Pedic products. This role includes management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager, such as opening and closing the store, and overseeing daily operations to ensure adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Support management in overall store leadership and supervision
• Drive brand awareness and advocacy to exceed store goals
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and monitoring the development of store associates
• Provide a premium customer experience and build relationships with consumers
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation
• Ensure financial objectives and controls are managed correctly
• Provide leadership in the absence of store management
• Foster a collaborative and open environment across the company
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years of retail management experience or equivalent
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment
• Ability to lead, direct, and train others
• Knowledge of current best practice retail methods and standards
• Demonstrated team player able to both lead and follow
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Fluency with current retail software and computer systems
