About the position

The Retail Sales Associate is a part-time position at Harbor Freight Tools, where the individual will be a key member of a high-performing team. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Associates will be empowered to understand the importance of their work and take pride in their contributions to the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great experience for our customers.
• Handle various sales transactions.
• Encourage customers to participate in company programs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Adherence to attendance policy is necessary.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
• Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
