About the position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving retail sales and enhancing customer experiences within Verizon's retail stores. This position focuses on leveraging your passion for technology and exceptional customer service skills to meet customer needs and expand the Verizon network. You will engage with customers, provide tailored product recommendations, and continuously develop your skills through training and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by utilizing passion for technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution.
• Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to interested customers.
• Engage with the community outside of the store to expand the loyal customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of work experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a commission-based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.
