About the position
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our store. Your responsibilities will include cash handling, operating cash registers, and ensuring accurate pricing, all while contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Stock merchandise and maintain product visibility
Requirements
- Experience in cash handling and operating POS systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to perform retail math accurately
- Relevant experience in grocery retail
