About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at Cumberland Farms is responsible for providing an exceptional customer shopping experience while supporting the manager in day-to-day operations. This role involves greeting guests, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. The position offers opportunities for growth within a large company operating nearly 1700 locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm welcome and a smile to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle various tasks as they arise.
• Brew coffee and stock shelves, coolers, and freezers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store as part of a team effort.

Requirements

• Preferred education: High School or GED.
• Preferred experience: 3-6 months in retail or guest service restaurant.
• Soft skills: Comfortable interacting with guests and team members, high energy, ability to quickly switch between activities, team-oriented, and willing to help others.
• Computer skills are helpful.

Nice-to-haves

• ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory.
