About the position

The Retail Sales Associate is a part-time position at Harbor Freight Tools, where the individual will be a key member of a high-performing team. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Associates will work flexible hours within the store's operating hours of 6am to 10pm, and will be empowered to take pride in their work and understand the importance of their contributions.

Responsibilities

• Provide a great experience for our customers.
• Handle various sales transactions.
• Encourage customers to participate in company programs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Adherence to attendance policy is necessary.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
• Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
