About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at Camping World is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves effective communication, mentoring colleagues, promoting company programs, and maintaining store appearance. The associate will also develop product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
• Lead department and assist/mentor colleagues
• Promote company programs including warranty sales and Good Sam Memberships
• Establish strong product knowledge and sell to customers
• Maintain the appearance of the store, including stocking and general housekeeping duties
• Cross train to perform other duties
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Superior customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and work ethic
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
• Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for extended periods
