• Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and provide change as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store performance.
• Stay informed about new products and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• A willingness to learn about products and sales techniques is essential for success in this role.
