About the position

As a Retail Sales Associate at Harbor Freight Tools, you will be a vital part of a high-performing team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. The anticipated pay for this role is $17.50 per hour, which may vary based on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition to competitive pay, associates and their families are eligible for a range of benefits, including limited medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and short-term disability coverage. You will also have the opportunity to enroll in the company's 401k plan, allowing you to save for retirement with company matching contributions. Paid time off is accrued at a rate of up to 152 hours per year, which includes PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays. Furthermore, associates can earn up to 64 hours of paid sick time annually, subject to legal requirements. The work schedule is designed to respect your time, with operating hours from 6 am to 10 pm. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Adherence to attendance policy is necessary.
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
  • Ability to intermittently lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds, and stand/move for entire shift.
