About the position

The Retail Sales Associate at Aldo is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service to customers, maximizing sales, and promoting the company's image of quality and professionalism. This part-time position requires effective communication and customer service skills to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt and courteous service to customers to maximize personal and store sales.
• Practices professional salesmanship according to company policies to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
• Adheres to all loss prevention policies and procedures, including credit card and return policies.
• Ensures merchandise is properly ticketed, attractively displayed, and maintains assigned sections according to company standards.
• Promotes total customer service in a friendly manner.
• Communicates stock replenishment needs to the Store Manager.
• Handles special orders efficiently.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, including shipping and receiving of merchandise.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Under 1 year of related work experience, preferably in retail or service industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented and a team player.
• Fashion-oriented and willing to work retail hours.
• Ability to bend, climb ladders, lift and move boxes up to 35 lbs.
