About the position

As a Retail Sales Associate at Workwear Outfitters, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and promoting a wide range of work apparel and footwear products. Your primary focus will be on providing knowledgeable assistance to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and contributing to the overall sales performance of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service from initial greeting to the final sale.
• Assess customer needs and provide expert advice about available products.
• Prioritize sales and customer service ahead of all operational activities.
• Demonstrate features and benefits of any product which may complement the sale.
• Maximize store sales by consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Close sales positively to build customer relationships.
• Continually increase knowledge of products, services, promotions, events, and store layout.
• Assist with store merchandising, returns, and ensure the store is safe, clean, and well organized.
• Understand and follow all pertinent store operations policies and practices including customer service, loss prevention, and problem resolution.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail experience
• Good decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of customer service
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to take on new challenges
• Mature attitude and a strong work ethic
• Excellent team player and able to work with people on all levels
