About the position

The Retail Sales Consultant at Comcast is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support by assisting customers with their product and service needs. This role involves demonstrating product capabilities, onboarding customers, and ensuring a positive customer experience while achieving sales goals. The consultant works under moderate supervision and is accountable for individual performance and team impact.

Responsibilities

  • Passionately represent products and services by sharing and demonstrating product and sales knowledge with customers.
  • Provide product demonstrations to educate customers on full product capabilities.
  • Take a customer-first approach with all customer interactions.
  • Listen and evaluate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive customer onboarding activities and ensure customers understand how to use and manage all company products/services.
  • Perform operational and administrative tasks.
  • Partner with customer care to resolve customer issues as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate sales excellence and professionalism with integrity and a warm demeanor.
  • Comply with all company and retail operational policies and procedures.
  • Complete training requirements and actively engage in team huddles and learning.
  • Understand the sales compensation plan and its key elements.
  • Work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Carry and lift up to 25-pound boxes, stand, and move about the store constantly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Experience in customer service and sales is preferred.
